I make my living by writing adult stories. Simple truth, and yet I also promote various adult sites, in order to make some money. I mean it isn’t cheap to live these days, so every nickle helps, and frankly, I think most of us, are in the same predicament. We all need as much as we can get. 

BUT STEALING OTHER PEOPLE’S WORK IS NOT THE WAY.

Yet in the Adult Industry, the biggest threat to survival isn’t the competition, isn’t really the Government regulations, or the cost of hosting a site.  Truly, the biggest cost, that we all wind up paying for, is the cost of STOLEN CONTENT.

Problem is, people will take that licensed picture, and use it without permission. Or they will link to that picture, which costs them nothing, but it costs me. I have to pay for the bandwidth, and if  I don’t make enough sales, well… you get the idea.

It amazes me how we don’t see that when we use someone elses product, without permission, that it is stealing. I have to jump through hoops, in order to bring these photo’s to you, as do ALL WEBMASTERS WHO PROMOTE ADULT SITES.  Yet many will save them to their hard drive, then upload them to file sharing sites.

Folks, you gotta know, that isn’t cool. IT IS ACTUALLY STEALING. Worse too, is that it makes hard for honest adult webmasters, to make a living. It causes increased membership fees, to sites that do generate the content, you are uploading to file sharing sites.

So next time you see something you might want to save, to download, keep in mind, it is for your own personal use, NOT FOR SHARING TO THOUSANDS OF STRANGERS.
